Home Network Cybersecurity for Air Conditioning Business Owner: Addressing Personal and Business Security Risks

Introduction

Cybersecurity is not only a concern for businesses but also for individuals whose home networks support both personal and professional activities. A former customer of mine, the owner of an air conditioning business, reached out for help with serious cybersecurity issues, including a hacked iPhone and vulnerabilities in her home network. Having assisted her previously through my former company, I continued to help her secure her personal internet environment.

This project involved analyzing her network to address security risks, implementing a comprehensive firewall solution, and optimizing her WiFi system to ensure seamless and secure operations for both personal and business use.

Project Challenges

The client’s home network had become a source of concern due to several security issues. Her iPhone had been hacked, and there were vulnerabilities in the home network that posed risks to both personal data and sensitive business information. 3. Firewall Deployment and Network Configuration After selecting the SonicWALL Firewall, I deployed and configured it to secure the client’s entire network.
